Database Architect
The Charles Koch Institute seeks a Database Architect to support the Institute’s Salesforce Database Administration efforts to more effectively advance the Institute’s educational mission as a school. This role will be responsible for developing and maintaining the Salesforce Database; managing database projects from start to finish; assessing customer architecture; designing secure, high-performance technical solutions on the Force.com platform; communicating technical solutions and design tradeoffs effectively to business stakeholders; and providing a delivery framework that ensures quality and success, while maintaining a high level of service for internal and external customers. Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Work with internal teams to manage changes and improvements to the database • Drive projects to completion for various customers • Train staff on utilizing Salesforce efficiently • Manage contractual agreements with database vendors • Serve as a consultant to partner organizations in need of database consulting Qualifications • Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (or willing to obtain) • 2+ years’ experience administering/architecting a Salesforce instance • BA or BS in related field preferred • Strong interpersonal skills • Passion for the ideas of liberty • Entrepreneurial spirit, humility, and high sense of urgency • Willingness to learn and apply Market Based Management® at work daily EOE/M/F/D/V
